Lois Wertheimer is an artist from New York known best for her works in stone carving. She specializes in sculpting with mediums ranging from:

• Soapstone
• Alabaster
• Limestone
• Onyx
• Marble

Lois has won numerous awards for her work, exhibited in Juried Art Shows and is well connected to a plethora of Art Associations. Throughout her career, she has shown a dedicated effort to lend her skills and talents to teaching others. Currently she is a Docent as the Asia Museum Society in New York City and she formerly taught at the Heard Museum in Phoenix, Arizona.

Her magnificent pieces have been showcased and purchased in over 5 states across the U.S. ranging from Arizona, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and in New York.

Lois earned her graduate degree in Elementary Education and Art Therapy.

She currently resides in New York City and is associated with the Art Students League. She owns a studio in Nantucket, MA where she also represented at the 8 india Street Art Gallery owned by Robert Foster, and exhibited with the Artists Association of Nantucket.
